The snake is one of the oldest and most mystical motifs in the world. Since it regularly sheds its old skin, it is the ultimate symbol of rebirth, healing, and new beginnings. Those who have left a difficult phase of life behind often choose the snake as a sign of personal transformation. At the same time, it stands for a certain duality: it can be dangerous and venomous (temptation), but also protective and healing (think of the Rod of Asclepius in medicine).
