A faded tattoo on the lower leg, which no longer suited the wearer, was replaced by a detailed, ornamental mandala with a red crystal and a vibrant rose blossom.

From Old to Wow – The Art of the Cover-Up
The original tattoo – a horseshoe with an animal print pattern and a rose – was faded in color, restless in its effect, and no longer contemporary. Especially with colored tattoos, a well-planned cover-up is essential to harmoniously integrate old pigments while creating a new, high-quality design.
Dimi developed a complex mandala design here, featuring a vibrant red rose and a stylized ruby as its centerpiece. The lines draw the eye upwards, the crystal creates depth, and the strong black areas ensure that nothing of the old tattoo shows through – neither in color nor in structure.
